Sir Richard Branson

Sir Richard Branson has invested a great deal of his time and energy into marketing his business empire. The owner of record labels, bridal shops, gymnasiums, trains and other unrelated business (all baring the name Virgin) has undergone several epic voyages in a bid to draw media attention to his brand.

From sailing across the Atlantic in record time, to floating across the same expanse in the largest hot air balloon ever flown, Branson has gone the extra mile to promote his products and services. Every vehicle employed on his adventures, including a hybrid car/boat called the “aquaticar”, is dutifully festooned with Virgin logos from the rear panel to the windscreen.
